When Things Feel Out of Control

Today we welcome for the 2nd time, the amazing Dr. Natalie Dattilo. Natalie is a Clinical & Health Psychologist, an Instructor @harvardmed, founder of @prioritywellnesscoaching, and is an expert in the fields of: Mindset, Motivation & Self-care. AKA: our jams!

In order for us to make a difference, we wanted insight from a professional about how to handle tough things and topics. Last time we had her on the show, she talked about how to have hard conversations. In today’s climate we know there are lots to be had.  If you missed our first episode head back to number 39. Fast Forward to Today

We wanted to dive into another topic surrounding the world we are living in, and that is: How to help yourself in these heavy, tough times. We know we are not alone. The world today is leaving a lot of people feeling weighed down, out of control, anxious, depressed, etc.  So we wanted to chat all about how to take care of ourselves right now. 

Tune In & Gain Control

Ask yourself this: How am I feeling? Sometimes we need to gain awareness about how things are affecting us to get a grip on them. What are some signs that you may be feeling this overwhelm/anxiety? Dr. Dattilo points out that we have to give ourselves a Window of Tolerance in order to reclaim the space to help us process our anxiety. 

We don’t want to give away all of the amazing secrets Dr. Dattilo shared with us, but we hope you tune in to hear them.
