It all started because of an Etsy conversation in 2012. That conversation kicked off a long distance friendship that would never end. Fast forward to 2014, and the idea for EVERYKIND was born. We decided that because t-shirts allow us to be walking billboards, we should be wearing positive, kindness-spreading designs on them. We hoped that these messages would spark conversations, ignite change and inspire everyone to live a kind(er) life. We know first hand that being kind isn’t always easy, but choosing kindness is always worth it. We are so freaking passionate about bettering ourselves and the world we live in, and we believe that what we do makes a difference. We’re so glad you’re here, and we invite you to tune in to our very first podcast episode to hear “the conversation” that started it all.

I am a hyper emotional human and I believe with my whole heart that music and dancing can turn any frown upside down. I enjoy cream with a splash of coffee, spending time with my family, and being the girl at the party you can rely on for chapstick!

I tend to have more enthusiasm than often necessary and consider myself fluent in several accents. I don’t go anywhere without my water, I’m a total sucker for teen romance movies/tv shows, and I sleep with 3 pillows every night.

Do you have it in you to BE KIND?!

We believe it is as simple and complicated as this: BE KIND & you’ll be happy. The first step? The desire to be both kind and happy! Don’t waste another minute not making the world a better place!

We record our conversations.

Often times we find ourselves regretting all of the amazing, heartfelt, world changing conversations, because we just want everyone to be a part of them! So of course, we started a podcast.

On July 27, 2014, just five days we launched our new business, my sister Shannon was killed by her ex-husband who then killed himself in front of our parents and their two young boys. My husband and I adopted the boys, 8 & 10 at the time. We knew it was what Shannon would want. It was what we wanted, too. The ripple effect of such a senseless tragedy made its way into the hearts of many. Without the outpouring of kindness from our family, our friends, our new parish and total strangers, I’m not sure where we would be today. I never thought I would be able to turn the worst day of my life into something positive, but over time I have learned that stars can’t shine without darkness. We get to see my sister shine through her boys every single day. And CB and I continue to carry on her legacy by spreading kindness in the way she would absolutely want us to. xox Colleen S
