Go Into The World and Do Well Quote Adult T-Shirt – EVERYKIND
When we are little kids, some of my adult like goals include things like: 1) Stay up as late as I want 2) Get a good job 3) Buy a nice house 4) Drive a cool car 5) Marry someone nice (and cute). Thinking back on my childhood, I can’t really remember thinking about growing up and doing GOOD; I concentrated more on doing things that would make me happy, and it turns out, doing good is what makes me happiest.
You can’t really do well unless you do good. And you can’t really do good, unless you’re DOING well. Think about it!
My sister gave me this quote for my birthday last year, and it is one of my favorite gifts to date. CB loved it too, and it got us talking about what it really means to do WELL and do GOOD. We are both fortunate enough to have amazing fathers who to this day set the bar high, and have lived lives that reflect what it means to get out what you put in. We have always said that kindness is a boomerang and we truly believe that in order to do well, doing good must come first.
When we donate our time, talents, skills or money, we are doing so to help make something better for someone. We can give away so much more than old clothes to Goodwill: We can give away generous compliments and generous thoughts. We can listen. We can advise. We can shine so brightly that others will have no choice but to light up, too.
There are so many ways to DO GOOD. By being the kind, generous, thoughtful, hardworking men our fathers are, they have both done well, and done good for us by the power of example. We hope that you all love this design as much as we do and will love giving it to your dad, father figure, or everyday hero. The best way to tell him “THANKS” is by telling him that the example he set for you has stuck with you and always will. If he has inspired you to do both well and good, then he deserves such thanks!
