Do you know or have you ever known somebody who always seems to take a wrong turn to negative town? It’s interesting how easy it is to be negative. Negativity requires a lot less energy, time and thought, because a lot of what life throws at us is bad, hard stuff.
When we are little kids, some of my adult like goals include things like: 1) Stay up as late as I want 2) Get a good job 3) Buy a nice house 4) Drive a cool car 5) Marry someone nice (and cute). Thinking back on my childhood, I can’t really remember thinking about growing up and doing GOOD
How many times do you answer an email, end a phone call or send a text and finish it with, “Have a great day!”? I do it all the time. And though I love the idea of having a great day, I started to realize that telling someone to have a great day implies that you are hoping they encounter a great day by chance.
Remember the good old phrase, “Actions speak louder than words”? There’s a reason it goes down in history as one of the best, and we believe the same goes for love: The act of love speaks louder than simply saying it.
It never gets easier, you just get better. If we could inspire people to adopt this motto and apply it to their lives, we feel like we would be doing the world a HUGE service. While we focus our efforts on spreading kindness and encouraging people to adopt kind habits, we are equally passionate about helping people live quality, happy lives.
