Our “I just thought you should know” cards are back! With FALL flair 🙂
We are Colleen & Colleen and we are kindness junkies. We have seen that kindness can truly change a person's life and we could not be more passionate about spreading it like butter (it's better on everything)! We want to use this blog as a platform, not just to...
Saturday, June 1st is observes as National Say Something Nice Day. It was proclaimed by Mayor Keith Summey of North Charleston, South Carolina to counteract bullying and the lack of civility and common courtesy that is growing among people in today’s world.
We sent out a survey and asked teachers what gifts they REALLY want because we don’t know what we would DO without the amazing teachers in our lives! We are excited to share their replies and some fun ideas for end of the year gifts! Here goes!
We have always believed in the power of gratitude and decided that we need to make it a habit not only for ourselves, but hopefully all of you too! So we are starting Thankful Thursday!
We believe there is a lot of positive power in the simplest act of a high five and since today is National High Five Day, we want to celebrate it! Let’s break down the HIGH five, finger by finger.
We’ve all heard it said that, “You can’t control everything that happens in the world.” And while we believe that as a massive effort we can make the world a better place to live, it is still true that you alone cannot control everything that happens out there.
A compliment is one of the simplest and easiest thing to give, and one of the most heart lifting, confidence boosting things to receive. A few kind words can go a very long way.
The thing is LOVE. And there’s not a whole lot we love more than spreading love, and even though we try to spread it EVERY day, we wanted to say a special “I LOVE YOU” to all of our loyal customers, followers + supporters.
You know when you’re a kid and you think that adults have all the answers? They have life totally figured out and you picture in your mind what you’ll be like as one? Maybe a teacher or a fire fighter? And then you hit your “young adult” years when you are totally invincible and right about everything.
It never gets easier, you just get better. If we could inspire people to adopt this motto and apply it to their lives, we feel like we would be doing the world a HUGE service. While we focus our efforts on spreading kindness and encouraging people to adopt kind habits, we are equally passionate about helping people live quality, happy lives.
The glass is half full. Look on the bright side. It could be worse. A blessing in disguise. You can’t judge a book by its cover. A light at the end of the tunnel.
